Sustentare is a consulting firm specialized in sustainability strategy, governance models and corporate social responsibility management. Its core business is advising the private sector on how to manage the risks and opportunities related to the environmental and social aspects of their business. Launched in 2004, Sustentare advises companies from different sectors, such as financial, telecommunications, construction, real estate promotion, pulp and paper, and distribution, amongst others . The aggregated turnover of its clients is about 15% of the Portuguese GDP. In the last years Sustentare developed research projects about sustainability in several economic sectors.
