The National Golf Cart Association is on a mission to educate the increasing numbers of golf cart owners, operators, and passengers to make their golf cart experience a safe one. The golf cart is becoming a growing phenomenon in residential settings. Golf carts, classified as "Low-Speed Vehicles" (LSV's), are allowed on many public roads. Golf cart-related injuries are on the rise in emergency rooms across the country. The most significant numbers being affected is the youngest of the operators and passengers. Recent studies indicate a lack of safety training as a contributing factor to this rise, with head trauma being some of the most severe injuries treated. Our goal was simple and remains the same today: provide easy access to practical golf cart safety awareness training. The website was up in 2008. Golf cart accidents and injuries were climbing along with golf cart use. I was seeing far too many reports involving children, young people and seniors seriously injured or resulting in death. I had to use the internet to try and reach as many people as possible. The website has remained simple in design and function to allow a wide range of ages to navigate quickly. Our website, www.NationalGolfCartAssociation.com, has many visitors and ranks the first page of Google search phrase, golf cart safety training typically. One of our other sites is the Campus at NationalGolfCartAssociation.org which hosts Learning Management Software with many possibilities and applications. Our trademark, products, material, assigned rights, and licenses, etc., are held under the corporation Bobco Services Inc., a sub-chapter S Corporation registered in the State of Georgia. Bobco Services is a media production company in the field of safety training products.
