* Lead and mentor a team of 40 investment professionals in 3 different geographic locations (SG, MY and ID). Coordinate and manage the investment process from top down to bottoms-up. * Construct overall investment strategy across asset classes. Formulate strategic and tactical asset allocation between equity and bonds. Develop the overall equity strategy from management of asset allocation to country and sector allocation. * Developed and a quant investment process that is based on an Alpha factor model integrated with traditional fundamental process. This is used for idea generation and evaluation of existing holdings. * Contribute actively to business development initiatives by preparing RFPs and client presentations. I also assist in improving the profile of the asset management company through public presentations. Contributed to the growth of AUM that has doubled from USD3bn to USD8bn in 3 years. *Lead manager for the Asia Pacific ex Japan equity strategies for both conventional and Shariah mandates including Maybank Asia Eq Focus, Maybank Asia Pacific Eq Islamic, Maybank Asian Growth and Income Fund, Maybank Greater China Asean Islamic.
