I have previously worked as an associate in the firm’s global Entertainment and Media Industry Group and has particular experience of acting for clients in the entertainment, media and technology sector. Having transactional, advisory, as well as contentious and both private practice and in-house experience in these areas, he is well-positioned to advise companies on a wide range of projects involving artificial intelligence, software and IT, digital media, e-commerce, advertising, media-buying, telecoms and content distribution/licensing.

Supporting the EMEA Sales & Marketing team by advising on, drafting and negotiating professional services, non-disclosure, sponsorship and master services agreements, data processing and affiliate addenda, work orders and assisting with a number of GDPR-related compliance work streams and other miscellaneous commercial matters.
March 2017 - September 2017 I spent 6 months in the Entertainment & Media Industry Group's litigation team (which also forms part of Reed Smith's Commercial Disputes Group). I was involved in a variety of contentious matters including intellectual property litigation. September 2016 - March 2017 I spent the '3rd seat' of my training contract in the Entertainment & Media Industry Group where I was involved in a wide range of transactional and advisory work. I worked on matters concerning advertising, e-commerce, franchising, consumer protection, software, intellectual property, corporate acquisitions, film production, licensing, telecommunications and media buying. March 2016 - September 2016 I was seconded for 6 months to Bauer Media (for more details, please see below). September 2015 - March 2016 I spent my first 6 months in the corporate department working on competition law and other regulatory matters. I was responsible for conducting merger control analyses, drafting self-assessments under Article 101 TFEU and working on a number of other regulatory and competition-related queries.
Between March 2016 and September 2016 I did a secondment at Bauer Media, a European-based media company, that manages a portfolio of more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations around the world. The scope of my responsibilities included: drafting commercial contracts, release forms, competition terms & conditions, NDAs, session agreements, dealing with IPSO- related queries and complaints, investigating trademark and copyright infringements.
EventLagoon.com was a new & free online marketplace for performers and event organisers to spark connections between each other. The portal catered for all types of performers and enables them to build comprehensive profiles in order to increase their exposure to gig opportunities. It was a not-for-profit initiative with a single objective of making a genuine contribution to the community of performers.

Tutor at the 23rd ECSL Summer Course on Space Law & Space Policy organised by the European Center for Space Law and the International Telecommunication Union. Responsible for supervising the projects of two teams of students out of which was one was awarded the 'Best Project' award. Also involved in the every-day activities essential for smooth running of such a course involving: introducing and liaising with our professors, planning social events and being readily available to assist any of our participants.
