I lead a multi-disciplinary team of designers, researchers, technologists, program and product managers for the Alexa Skills (Alexa Developer Tools) team. With the vision to create the world’s leading self-service AI developer platform that empowers any developer to craft high-quality experiences that make Alexa a natural part of everyday life. My team designs the new generation of voice interaction tools with advanced AI to shape the way humans interact with voice assistants. Enabling experience-makers from across the globe to make highly engaging and delightful experiences for customers.

I led the innovation and experimentation team at Amazon Marketplace, Fulfillment by Amazon and Amazon Global Selling. My team was responsible for the new and emerging business ideas to empower the sellers from all over the world to build direct to consumer business and delight millions of customers every day. I was fortunate enough to be part of the most strategic initiatives, such as inventory planning, supply chain and cross-border commerce at the Amazon marketplace that generated billions of dollars for sellers and brand owners.

Leading a team of designers, researchers and technologists in the supply chain management and new initiatives for Amazon Marketplace. Collaborating with other design teams across Amazon Marketplace and retail to innovate on the shopping experiences for the global market.

I was the lead designer for the inventory planning tools at Amazon Marketplace empowering sellers with business intelligence on the health of their products including restock, out of stock and overstocking. This suite of tools achieved the highest satisfaction ratings among Sellers in the marketplace platform.

I was the co-founder of a mobile marketing company focusing on O2O (offline to online) technologies with over one-thousand clients (small-medium businesses) from around the world. I was involved in every aspect of the company, from design and development to marketing and business development.Muprime was named one of the top innovative Canadian companies and presented the Canadian innovation in world expo in Hong Kong.

I was the lead product designer for the Autodesk revolutionary approach to parametric design for AutoCAD. During my tenure At Autodesk, I was fortunate enough to work in the office of Innovation of CTO and had the pleasure to work and brainstorm directly with CEO (Carl Bass) and Dr. Robert Aish.

I was the researcher on the parametric design group and worked on novel ways of exploring alternatives during the design process. I co-authored “The Elements of Parametric Design” book with Dr. Robert Woodbury my supervisor for my dissertation.

I was the instructor for several courses in design-thinking, Interdisciplinary design studio, and rapid-prototyping and fabrication.

I was part of the architectural design team working on various strategic commercial and recreational projects such as Tehran Central Bank, The Petroleum Museum and the Geno Park and recreation center.

I was one of the lead designers and project managers for several residential projects and was the supervisor on-site for several buildings managing the work of over 100 construction workers in Didar, Hasti and Jamshidieh buildings.

I was the founder and the managing director of a design agency that provided various services to the clients such as: graphic design, website design, architectural design, 3D modeling, animation and motion design.
