• Technical Feasibility Check & Sourcing of new development parts. • Procurement Process:- Floating Inquiries, Collecting Quotations, arranging Techno-Commercial Comparison & verifying, Vendor selection, Negotiation and releasing Purchase Order / Contract Order. • Responsible for New part development with 100% adherence as per project timeline and product requirement of desire quality. • Material Requirement Planning & project management with reference to product BOM. • Freezing tooling / Fixture requirement to meet quality & close of commercials with in budgetary norms. • Conducting & Leading Vendor visits along with design & quality team, against development plan to check in-process quality. • Vendor development (New / existing) & up-gradation activities ( Thru Audits / Trainings). • Budgeting & planning the funds for procurement / sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost saving by considering Strategic Sourcing, Economic Order Quantities, Storage Capacity. • VA/VE activities for Improvement & Cost Reduction. • Presenting monthly MIS & highlights & way forward plans of NPD deptt. • Initiating & execution of improvement activities in terms of quality & work efficiency. • Release of PO in Oracle system & Inventory management. • Monitoring and analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same

SKILL SET: • Component :- Fuel Tank Comp, Frame Body Comp., Swing Arm, Battery Tray, RR Carrier, Engine Guard, Main Stand, Pillion Step L / R & other Sheet Metal & Fabrication and Tubular. • Manufacturing Technology: Prototyping , Sheet Metal Forming , Welding (MAG, TIG, SEAM, SPOT, BRAZING), CNC Tube & Wire Bending, Tool & Die Manufacturing, Laser Cutting. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (NPD) • Drawing study & DFM with vendor to check for manufacturing feasibility, • Co-ordination with designer for application, requirements & understand the commonality, • Tracking for development at vendor end / In-house Initial drawing release  Manufacturing Process  Tooling / Part Development  Manufacturing problem / query resolving  Part Delivery  Quality Approval  Final Vehicle Fitment approval. STRATAGIC SOURCING, COSTING & PROCURMENT • Preparation of Zero Base Cost (ZBC) Estimations based on drawing, Cost comparisons & Cost Actualization after SOP for components, sub-assemblies & assemblies. • Sourcing & cost settlement for Components Cost, tooling/fixtures & prototype parts with use of tools like Drawing analysis, internal Cost Estimation & negotiations. • To continuously work for optimizing material cost and creating healthy productivity pipeline to achieve sustainable Year-On-Year cost reductions thru (LEAP, Vendor Nego. & Multi Sourcing) • Preparing cost approval & release of purchase order IN SAP. • Follow-up with vendor for on time delivery to meet project timeplans & time to time resolve of technical queries in co-ordination with design team. PROJECT MANAGEMENT Projects :- a.) Combi-Braking System (CBS) Implementation in all series 100 / 110 cc Motorcycle – Successfully Completed • Study of vehicle BOM and preparing Part level BOM with segregation of Common & Exclusive Parts. • Preparing & maintaining Part development tracker sheet with input from BOM. • Co-ordination with different commodity stake holders (Designers & Assy. team) to ensure on-time development.
