DeltaConlego are a company in the Delta Nordic Group. DeltaConlego develop and manufacturing electronics to customer within heating pumps, saunas, medical equipment etc. We had both development, production and after market under one roof. I was responsible for Operations which includes production, purchasing, store and service. On production we had surface mounting, AOI, wave soldering, manual assembly, box build and testing. Focus were to get better quality, planning and flow in the factory. Responsible for 25 employees and member of management board.
Conlego Elektronik changed name to DeltaConlego when we became a member of Delta Nordic Group. Responsible for purchasing and store. A lot of focus on reducing store. I manage to reduce it by 50%. We have also started up a forecast process with our supplier and customer which has reduced the lead-times and improved delivery on time. I have also improved payment terms from our supplier and lower the prices. I have also been responsible with the contacts with our Asian subcontractor for improved capacity. Participation in development project to influence that right choice has been made regarding price, availability and manufacture ability. This is a key to have short time to market and be cost effective. I’m also responsible for all material to new RFQ from customer. I was responsible for 5 employees and a member of management board.
Axell Wireless develops and manufactures repeater system in Telecom business. A repeater system improves the coverage in areas like tunnels. A repeater has both radio and digital electronics. Most manufacturing of the modules in the repeater are made by contract manufacturer. I’m responsible for strategic purchasing. This means that I’m responsible for RFQ-process, analyse, choice of suppliers, negotiation and agreement. Also involved in all develop project to secure that right components and supplier are chosen from the beginning. Also responsible for prototyping and pre-series at contract manufacturers.
Avitec was a company in telecom business that developed and manufactured repeaters. Avitec was bought by the company Axell Wireless. I was responsible for both strategic and operative purchasing. Staff liability since March 2007. During this period I was establish a forecast process in the company and reduced the lead-time a lot by working closely with managing director, production, contract manufacturer and sales. Focused on reducing the manufacturing cost on the products by doing RFQ and benchmarking. Also manufacturing in other way such as die casting instead of milled mechanics. I was participate in all develop project to affect the component choice and manufacturing ability in an early phase. In this way we saved money and reduced TTM. Other tasks were negotiation on agreement with suppliers. I also was secondary production manager for approx 20 employees.
Responsible that the whole supply chain was working for new products, from order to delivery. The product was a new base station for the US market. A lot of contact with R&D, production, sales and after sales. I also was responsible for products that were mature in their product cycle.
Follow-up and analyse of manufacturing costs for products during the whole product cycle. Close co-operation with R&D, purchasing and production to achieved as low manufacturing costs as possible. I also worked with creating new processes and tools for follow-up manufacturing cost in Ericsson factories in Sweden.
