This includes ensuring all drivers wear the correct uniform and PPE. • Advise and assist team members in sequencing and organizational skills and monitor the sequencing within your team. • Completing the “competent person” checks on the vehicles allocated to his team ensuring that all vehicle faults are rectified or reported. • Performing ‘round standard evaluations’ on your team members when covering their rounds. • Ensuring pro-active feedback to your team from the results of the ‘round standards forms’ upon their return. • Ensuring correct information and scoring is completed on your team’s driver profile spreadsheets in accordance with the able & Cole guidelines. • Ensuring you feedback on Driver Profiles with your team with a Bi-quarterly review. • Ensuring team briefs on a weekly basis with your team and minuting them and feeding back to the depot Supervisor/Manager. • You will be required to assist the Depot Supervisor with office duties should you not be General Responsibilities include: • Approach all situations in your working day in a courteous and professional manner, acting as an ambassador of A&C, reflecting our values and principles. • Provide mutual support for all other drivers and be prepared to offer assistance when required to ensure all daily deliveries are completed. • Adhere to all A&C health and safety policies and practice at all times.

This was voluntary work with the Wigan youth service. Working with organisations such as Duke of Edinburgh, Princess trust and other schools and college groups of all ages. This was Wigan based but often traveled to the Lake District for activities such a gorge walking, mountain climbing / biking, kayaking, canoeing & rock climbing. Through this time I gained a 2 star grade in kayaking and a 1 star grade in canoeing.
I commenced employment at Haigh Hall as a kitchen Porter. This was a hard working and very fast paced role. My responsibilities included assisting the sous chef to prepare buffets buffets whilst maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness. I later transferred to the information centre, dealing directly with the public. This involved dealing with customers face to face, telephone queries, responding to emails, cash & bank procedures and assisting the Park Wardens with other duties as and when required.
