Founder Director Learnt the art, science and commerce (for obvious reasons) of entrepreneurship and business management apart from honing my core competence of sustainability & business excellence skills. Seen success, experienced failures and cherished the journey. Ideation of business verticals, product (some may call them service) development, organisational capacity building, business and relationship curation were few basic jobs I did in Verde way back since 2009.

During my 11 years stint in DNV, I learnt Business Ethics, Compliance Assurance, Auditing, Training, Customer Engagement and Business Management. The understanding of standards, systems, compliance and excellence got substantiated with my previous hands on industry experience. Learnt the process of value addition through Management System Audit and conducted more than 1000 audits and assessments (management system audit, 1st & 3rd part audit, compliance audit, code of conduct audit, 2nd party or buyers’ audit etc.) in large, medium and small manufacturing, process and service industries. Worked intensively with numerous national and international standards on sustainability, quality, industrial safety, environmental management, quality, food safety and many others on responsible business. Sustainability became one of my core expertise. through working on business Sustainability Initiatives, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Protection, Social Responsibility and Business Ethics. Got in deapth experience in different kinds of business management systems like Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety Management, Food Safety Management, Social Accountability and helped several global organisations to meet and exceed the requirements. Here I discovered my inner passion for training and capacity building. Conducted over 600 training programs across the globe which includes IRCA registered QMS, EMS, OHSAS Lead Assessor Courses. Managing business, customer and my extraordinary team members is something which I learnt in DNV through numerous sessions, workshops, courses and mentorships. Still feel fortunate and grateful to get such a business management climate & exposure.

Take out from this stint of my career is confidence, performance benchmarking and transformation from engineer to manager.

When I look back, I see a young engineer working hard to understand the mystery of 'Industry'. I was fortunate enough to start my career in a small scale industry, where I worked in design, planning, production and quality control functions. I was involved in fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Industrial Structres, Process Plants and Material Handling Equipment as per National and International Codes of Standards like ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes, IS, ASTM, API and many many others. This is the place, where I developed my thirst for Quality. I got introduced to implement Quality Management System (then ISO 9001:1987). Workman handling, shop floor supervision, productivity, quality, cost effectiveness and customer handling were part of my day to day activities. Knowledge in Welding Technology, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain Vendor Development were my key competence areas when I moved out from my first organisation for the quest of career development and global exposure.
