Seeking new business opportunities, promoting our consultancy services and managing tender proposals. Project management: developing and managing project programmes and plans. Developing and managing audit programmes, leading audit teams and conducting thorough and professional combined or individual management system audits to ensure conformance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001 and compliance with legal and other requirements. Developing integrated management systems (IMS), documenting polices, process mapping department functions and operational activities and streamlining documentation. Designing and developing bespoke user-friendly document control solutions tailored to the needs of each organisation. Developing and delivering ISO awareness workshops and training tailored to each organisation and coaching and developing leadership providing consultancy and support. Working in collaboration with clients to promote policy, strategic direction, objectives and targets to increase awareness, motivation and employee engagement Managing registrations and contracts with third party certification bodies. Performance reporting and trend analysis of non-conformances. Facilitating Management Reviews with senior management. Developing, implementing, maintaining and coordinating activities to effectively maintain our company IMS and certification to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Managing the VolkerWessels UK Integrated Management System (IMS). Developing the IMS for the VW UK companies VolkerFitzpatrick, VolkerHighways, VolkerLaser, VolkerStevin and VolkerInfra. Ensuring the management systems meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and legal and other requirements. Ensuring programmed reviews of documented policies, plans and procedures are completed to timescale. Working with non-operational departments documenting their procedures and processes to integrate within the IMS. Developing the IMS, integrating systems not part of the IMS, ensuring they are documented and incorporated, identifying gaps and seeking opportunities for consolidation improvements within the IMS. Managing the monthly issue of ‘Record of Revisions’. Chairing management review meetings, facilitating updates and effective closeout of actions. Communicating new or amended documentation, and briefing to HSEQS staff for implementation. Assisting the VolkerWessels UK business units prepare for ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 certification. Supporting and leading the VolkerWessels UK business units with third party audits including BSi 9001 / 14001 / 18001 surveillance Audits, Highways Agency Sector scheme Audits, Achilles Link Up / Builders Confidence / UVDB Audits etc. Addressing deficiencies promptly in the IMS arising from internal or external audit.
