Parents Forum for Differently Able is the first registered organization in Bangladesh that work for the parents of neuro-disabilities, and PFDA-Vocational Training Center is also the first organization in Bangladesh works on capacity building for persons with Neuro-disabilities. The Centre is dedicated to provide learning opportunities though lifeskill and livelihood skills (economical return) and promote methods to empower young adult and adult with neurological disorders so that they utilize their potentials and take part in mainstream society and in cases. Ms. Danny achieved Ashoka Fellowship since 2018, is working in developmental sector since last 20 years and worked with UNHCR and UNICEF since 2001. She is mother of a person with Autism age 26years, Muhammad Seeam Ul Karim, has passed O Level under British Council and now working at duty free shop at Dhaka Airport. She has dedicated her life, education and knowledge for the welfare of the persons with disabilities and working voluntarily for these organizations. She says, her experience raising a child with autism, without any help from family and society, she uses this to support other mothers and families in same area. She is master trainer in Neuro-Developmental Disabilities and member of expert working group of professionals in Bangladesh. At the national level she was involved with the formation of the Neuro-developmental Disorder Protection Trust Act.
