Installer uses the EDP for Installation of the networks and EDP is the documentation for the Optical Back Bone. The EDP Contains Network Diagrams, Signal Flow Diagrams, Floor Plans, Shelf Layouts etc. EDP also Contains Installation Required Material (IRM) 2. Engineering Services to ALCATEL Preparation of Specification Packages for their DSL Customers for DSLAM Products. Installers use the Specification Packages for Installation of the DSL Product line, which includes ASAM 1000, RAM1000 etc. Specification is the documentation for the Network and Contains Network Diagrams, Signal Flow Diagrams, Floor Plans, Shelf Layouts etc. EDP also Contains Installation Required Material (IRM) 3. Preparation of Generic Network Planning/Design packages/catalogs Capacity Planning, Link Budget Analysis, Wavelength Planning, Selection of the Protection Schemes depending on the Traffic Pattern.
