It has been appointed by the Trustee to: 1) Set the overall strategic direction and investment strategies of the Funds, including their investment objectives, risk tolerance and the strategic asset allocations; 2) Exercise oversight of the funds and monitor their performance; 3) Choose, monitor the performance of and, if necessary, replace the Investment Consultant; and 4) Provide advice to the Trustee on matters relating to the management of the Funds. IBA Asset Management also manages the Indigenous Real Estate Investment Trust, I-REIT, which was created to provide Indigenous investors with the opportunity to invest in an actively managed commercial property fund. The I-REIT is currently valued in excess of $80m and intends to grow it’s investments by raising further capital from Indigenous investors and progressively acquiring new commercial properties that meet its investment parameters.
