The PR Hub is a strategic communications partner to ambitious growth companies. We work with founders, CEOs and leadership teams to ensure their business is clearly understood, credibly positioned and consistently represented at the level they operate. Most companies don’t have a capability problem. What holds them back is how they’re understood in market. When that gap exists, it shows up in slower growth, weaker investor confidence and missed commercial opportunity. That’s where we operate. We bring structure to narrative, discipline to external communication and a clear strategy for building trust through earned media and leadership visibility, not as an output, but as a driver of growth, market positioning and long-term value. This is becoming more critical in an AI-driven environment, where platforms rely on credible third-party sources to determine what gets surfaced and trusted. The coverage you earn is increasingly shaping how your business is understood at scale, across systems you don’t control. The companies investing in this now are defining their category early. Those that aren’t risk being defined by others, or not showing up at all. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with founder-led and scaling businesses across Australia and internationally, often at key inflection points such as expansion, capital raises, acquisitions, partnerships and product launches, and repositioning ensuring their external narrative keeps pace with the ambition and performance of the business. Public relations is what we deliver. Strategic advantage is what our clients build.

The fashion and modelling industry gets a makeover with THE RIGHT.FIT, a market place that changes the way brands connect with talent and creative freelancers. The platform recently (Aug 2016) secured $750,000 in seed funding with Airtree Ventures. THE RIGHT.FIT, is disrupting tradition by directly connecting brands with models and creative talent. For the fashion and modelling industry this means booking and hiring models without using an agency as a middleman. It also means access to photographers, stylists, makeup artists and more, so an entire campaign can be put together in one seamless, online transaction. Founder and CEO, Taryn Williams, says the idea for the website came from working in her other business, WINK Models, where she realised that the traditional way of booking talent through an agency is no longer the most practical or efficient method for all clients. “TheRight.Fit is the way of the future for the fashion and advertising industry when finding and booking models, especially when they need a certain look at short notice,” Williams said. “It puts the control back into the users’ hands. Brands and fashion houses are able to select their talent, set budgets, and have transparency in the payment process.” On the talent side, she added, “With the rise of social media influencers the industry is constantly growing and there are plenty of models and creative talent who don’t have representation. The Right.Fit offers them a solution. They can create an online portfolio, on a reputable platform, with access to jobs they wouldn’t normally get.” Since launch, the platform has attracted over 3,000 talent and 1,000 brands. Brands using the platform to source talent include; General Pants, Zanerobe, M-ONE 11, Showpo, Lonsdale, Campari, Heineken, Belvedere, Sunseeker, Boost Juice and Surfstitch.

The Tech Ready® program is an 8-week accelerator course specifically designed for non-tech female founders who want to step confidently into the tech space. It brings together non-tech and tech founders, investors, and industry leaders to share their learnings and encourage new entrepreneurs in a succinct, educational program that can be studied while still working full time. The program’s mission is to inspire, empower and prepare non-tech females for their tech journey so they have the skills and know-how to create tech businesses and innovative products. Currently only 22% of tech startups have a female founder or co-founder while only 25% of IT positions are taken up by women. Deloitte believes there may be fewer women in IT today than there were in 2015. Tech Ready believes it’s not for lack of ideas but lack of support and access to knowledge in a safe, open and supportive environment. Tech Ready is built on four key pillars; community, mentoring, skills/education, and investment. In essence it’s creating a group of like-minded females with an interest in technology and business, providing the right experts to help foster their ideas, bringing in professionals who will teach them technology and business skills and then empowering them with the ability to build a MVP (minimum viable product), pitch it and find investment. Tech Ready was created by leading female entrepreneur, Christie Whitehill, as a result of her own experience as a female founder of not one but two technology platforms. For more information on the Tech Ready® Program, or to organise an interview with Christie Whitehill or one of the program mentors, please contact Samantha Dybac, The PR Hub: e: samantha@theprhub.com.au p: 0411 251 373
