I educate, engage and empower young boys from the ages of 9 to 14. SWAGAA intends to change the rhetoric around merely encouraging men and boys to act differently. The Boys for Change Program intends to inspire men and boys to be different ; to be courageous agents of social mobilisation for change who unapologetically and courageously challenge society to foster safe, protective communities which promote respect and dignity. The main aim is to raise boys and men of integrity and dignity, which stand courageously in solidarity with women and girls to end gender based violence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: o Conduct community and school-based sensitizations on Gender Based Violence (GBV), HIV, Gender, etc. o Develop and submit comprehensive activity reports and ensure quality and timely reporting standards are adhered to all times. o Identify and provide immediate support to survivors of GBV, and ensure timely referral and follow up of survivors. o Prepare mentees for SWAGAA events and Annual General Meetings, breakfast meetings, talk shows, etc.
