The National Organisation for FASD (formerly NOFAS-UK) is dedicated to supporting people affected by Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), their families, communities and the practitioners who support them. It promotes education for professionals and public awareness about the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. The chief executive gives leadership and direction to the organisation by interpreting the mission of the charity and devising concrete programmes to give effect to it, to raise the resources to make these and the general operation of the charity viable, to oversee those programmes, and to manage the day-to-day running of the charity.
