Driving CSR & sustainability initiatives for better impact
Currently working with CAF India as Head MarComm, I manage integrated portfolio for the organization blending both MarComm & Social Initiatives sphere. My work spans from communication, PR, marketing, product innovation, partnership development, resource mobilization, CSR project management, research, digital transformation, employee engagement, volunteering and many more. I wear multiple hats to ensure organizational growth, visibility and sustainability. I manage strategic media planning, press outreach, campaign events, and all written and multimedia communication pieces for the brand. My strategic PR approach has helped organization maintain an open communication with the media including newspapers, television and radio. I have been representing CAF India at various corporate and NGO forums and won many accolades for the brand.
Some of the highlights of the projects that I have handled/ worked on: 1. Strategized and delivered some of the best digital campaigns in Foreign office: Award wining Speed sisters campaign (Jerusalem - https://www.facebook.com/speedsisters ), Queen’s visit campaign (UAE & Oman), Chevening experiences & achievements (Lebanon), Human rights campaigns, Living Ramadan in FCO (http://storify.com/ukmiddleeast/living-ramadan https://www.facebook.com/livingramadan/timeline?filter=2 ) Think green campaign (Kuwait) 2. Received ABCD award (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) from Foreign Office for successfully managing South Sudan Digital presence Launch project. Also handled another similar project “Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan combined digital presence launch”. 3. Worked on various ministerial visit campaigns- Prime Minister David Cameroon, Foreign Secretary William Hague, Alistair Burt’s including other ministerial visits to Middle, Africa and Central Asia 4. Pioneered the use of Facebook and Twitter Q&A to deliver engagement initiative. Was responsible for developing training programmes for external clients. Mailly, worked on SAP training development project. Apart from training development, also created training styleguide that was used for building the training courseware.
Primary responsibility was to maintain the fidelity website (www.fidelity.co.uk). Initial responsibility involved transitioning web maintenance work from UK to India. The daily web maintenance work comprised creating and editing content for the website. Monitor the content quality.Was also invovled in usability and accessibility testing projectsI. Also conducted regression testing and test script execution for the Fidelity UK site. Apart from the above responsibilty, I have hands on experience in website usability testing including project planning, writing test scripts, conducting test event and finally writing the user test reports that highligts issues on the website and recommendations for improvements.
Main responsibility was to maintain the “GE Energy” website (www.geenergy.com) Primarily the maintenance task involved content restructuring, content positioning, content editing and with regular quality reviews (functional as well as edit reviews to ensure zero defects in the final deliverables). Additional responsibilities included creation of portal usability reports on a weekly basis. Apart from carrying out the above activities on a regular basis, I was also delegated to work with developers to redesign and overhaul the existing website design and layout.
