Sara Cowles's past jobs
Our startup, Enstratius, was acquired by Dell Software in 2013. During my time at Dell/Quest, I led UX, product, and engineering teams to high-profile successes with the introduction of lean principles, design thinking, rigorous customer research, and modern application architecture. In early 2016 I formed the Quest Experience Design Center to lead a design transformation for Dell Software (now Quest). As a team of UX Designers and Researchers, UI Engineers, and Content Strategists, we take a highly collaborative and iterative approach to value creation, grounding ourselves in rapid research and data to maximize our impact and delight our customers.
Led Experience Design and UI Development for the cloud start-up enStratus from inception, through Series A funding, and following our acquisition by Dell. Translated new and complex problems into valuable and delightful experiences for our customers as, at various stages, UX Designer, Product Manager, and UI Designer. As we gained traction in the market, established UX and UI teams that expanded our ability to innovate through experimentation, rapid-prototyping, research-driven UX design and robust, adaptable UI engineering.
