The Connecticut Data Collaborative is a public-private partnership that seeks to democratize access to public data, increase data literacy, and facilitate data-informed decision-making. As the Assistant Director, I work closely with the Executive Director to execute the mission of CTData. This includes: - business and philanthropic development and working as part of the team to develop a new earned income venture as part of the Social Enterprise Accelerator (funded through the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving) - providing data support through consulting projects and customized training for Bridgeport Prospers and the Community Action Agencies of Connecticut (through the Connecticut Department of Social Services Community Services Block Grant team) - collaborating on data projects and data training for clients - managing the logistics of the annual conference - fostering relationships with community partners - ensuring our communication strategy aligns with the strategic direction of the organization and developing communications plans to ensure data users are aware of our products and services that can support their decision-making
