Royal Voluntary Service is one of the UK’s largest volunteer organisations. In every corner of Britain, we mobilise volunteers to support those in need, in hospital and in the community. Through the gift of voluntary service, our volunteers provide much-needed support for over-stretched public services and for people as they age. Our volunteers work at scale in the NHS, freeing up NHS staff to dedicate more time to patient care, and within communities to give practical help and support to people as they age. Royal Voluntary Service also runs the NHS Volunteer Responders, which was set up to support the NHS and the social care sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do this we built an 'army' of volunteers who support vulnerable people in England who are at most risk from the virus to stay well. As a Corporate Account Manager, I manage and develop existing client relationships with our national partnerships, including Yakult, Specsavers, Legal & General, Smart Energy GB, General Medical Council and McCarthy Stone. Our aim is to create partnerships that are mutually beneficial and deliver impact to meet CSR and business objectives, in order to support the health and wellbeing of older and vulnerable people in communities across Great Britain.
