EXPERIENCE :- • Manage end to end design process of Denim (Bottom ware) and Jackets (Top ware). • Responsible for Leading and developing seasonal design concepts for Denim, Non-Denim & Jackets. • Involved with sourcing team to Negotiates all trim costs with vendors in the initial design phase to ensure the best FOB costing. • Meets with trim vendors to research new ideas, details and trends • Works closely with Sr. Design Manager and Associate Designer to ensure that all trim designs and sample orders are handed off to the Sourcing team according to calendar. • Involved in Research & Development of forecasted trends and fabrication, denim details and washes, fit, finish and trim with respect to current market trends, buying behavior of consumer. • Responsible in setting up well design plan for various process related to in house design by interacting with Kontoor (VF) Hong Kong to achieve desired output. • According to market expectations created innovative styles and interesting product stories to meet the market needs and challenges. • Sound understanding of design, merchandising, and product development to ensure costs of the materials, treatments and trims are within our initial FOB costing. • Collaborates with Patternmakers, Development and Tech team to confirm desired garment construction and look. • Design into specific price point based on business, costing and merchant direction as well as Assists the Design Head in presenting the line during sales meetings. • Strong working knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, textiles, wash & finishing techniques and processes.
