Sean Case P E MBA PMP's past jobs
I was a leader in establishing requirements for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and construction for all Gap Inc. brands for the US, Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico stores. I collaborated with a variety of internal and external partners including the real estate, estimating, architecture, construction, and maintenance teams, and was responsible for the engineering design and construction of over 150 stores and $45 million in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction annually.
I continued to work closely with owner representatives and building owners to execute their construction projects. I leveraged my business management acumen to assist my company's ownership to implement process management tools that assisted our staff with their profit and loss statements, customer relationship management, and communication flow. I was also responsible for the development of my assigned entry-level Project Engineers. I was a mentor and provided guidance as they grew their career within the mechanical contracting industry.
I worked closely with owner representatives and building owners to execute their construction projects by managing multiple trades and subcontractors. I manage these groups while keeping the lines of communication open between ownership and the organizations executing the physical work and holding them at the highest standards of the customer and my own. Along with these everyday construction project management duties, I also worked closely with my company's ownership to establish organizational effectiveness, process improvement, and change management.
I supervised construction and retrofit projects from my initial contact through sales, conceptual studies, engineering design, energy studies and construction. The responsibility continued through final acceptance, warranty period and service maintenance contract.
I contested the AMA, USGPRU and AFM series in various classes throughout California resulting in highly successful results, while acting as promoter, published press release writer, mechanic and racer. Highlights: Top Novice - 250 Production, 3rd place - 250cc 4 Hour Endurance, consistent podium finisher and 3rd overall 250GP Formula II Championship Series, podium finisher with the USGPRU and AMA professional event qualifier at Infineon Raceway, Sonoma California.
The Merchant Marine Naval Reserve leads civilian ships used to transport both imports and exports during peacetime and serves as an auxiliary to the Navy during times of war, delivering both troops and supplies. I acted as a liaison between the US Navy and civilian ships subsidized by the Federal Government.
I was responsible for assisting an assigned project manager with regard to design and construction with the execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with a valid, executed contract, per company policies, procedures and work instructions for customized heating and air conditioning systems.
