Along with my wife, I founded "crm.buzz" a professional blog and a podcast about Marketing, Data, email marketing, email deliverability, Customer experience (CX), and customer retention management (CRM). Developing new business. Managing the databases department
I was among the first recruits to join the marketing division of Partner communications company (at the time: the cellular operator of orange network in Israel), as the director of direct marketing. Pre-launch, I was invited to learn extensively about the orange brand by Wolff-Olins in London. I was in charge of Partner pre-launch campaign (stop campaign) that was done exclusively by direct mail. The mailing I produced was very personal and unique in size, sent to B2B managers and influencers, and a targeted audience of B2C potential consumers. The offer in the mailing was to save your phone number in the soon to launch the first GSM network in Israel, or to choose a new phone number. In the beginning, there was a lack of IT resources for marketing like things (they had to build a cellular network…). I hade to develop a database and software for saving bulk numbers for companies and consumers. That was an exciting challenge. I was in charge of all the direct marketing campaigns and strategies. I was involved in choosing and implementing a CRM system and Campaign Managers software solutions. I was consulting on data cleansing solutions and developed and maintain customer retention and churn prevention strategy. Also, I was a part of the O-Magazine, a lifestyle magazine that we produced to orange customers.
