In 2010, I combined my twin passions for finance and construction by developing and launching an e-commerce platform for the sales and auctions of used equipment for Barloworld Group. This new channel merges used equipment stock from Spain, Portugal, Siberia and Southern Africa. In addition we worked with CUESI, CAT Financial, Bergerat Monnoyeur, Zeppelin Germany, C.G.T., PON-Equipment, JA Delmas and Tractrafic.
Construction Market Segment. I was appointed Commercial Manager at Finanzauto S.A., the CATERPILLAR dealer in Spain. Responsible for the construction equipment market in Spain and Portugal, and helped Finanzauto to achieve their best market share in these regions.
I was appointed Public Works Market Segment Manager in 2007, in the moment that Spain was facing the biggest economic crisis ever, achieving in one year to adapt the stock size for a market of 17.000 units to the current market of only 1.000 units.
Power System Department Controller. As Controller of the Power Systems department, I developed two key actions: 1) redefine pricing of the different products offering by the departments and place the focus on the products where we were more profitable. 2) define and implemente the Balanced Scorecard to focus the sales team on the business growing trend. The result was that the department’s sales grew from €40M to €70M in one year.
