Shannon Ferguson

As the Co-Founder & CEO of FanSaves, I have been a key driving force behind not only creating the business and the brand but also growing and scaling it. Since the very beginning, I have ensured that my high standards are reflected throughout the company as I've worked together with my co-founder to grow FanSaves to a team of 10 as we've scaled across North America. I am proud to have created the FanSaves logo and branding that has continued to serve us well as we've grown. I have played a key role in marketing, branding and public relations for the company, helping FanSaves to become a respected brand throughout the sports industry and beyond. As the CEO, I have secured nearly $1 Million for the company through investment, grants and other startup funding. I am a strong grant writer, project manager and a fierce negotiator. I have been able to successfully grow from a non-technical co-founder into our lead product manager, working alongside our development team to consistently improve our platform. I lead from a place of empathy and encouragement, ensuring that I work for my employees as much as they work for me. I always have time for teaching moments and I work hard to ensure those I am leading are always putting their best foot forward and pushing themselves to be their best. As a former competitive athlete, I bring much of that grit and determination to the boardroom. I never give up and I always show up. I believe it's the hard work that we put in behind the scenes that makes it look easy to the rest of the world and that nothing beats true perseverance and resilience.
