educo is a public charitable trust established by Ms. Meenal Srinivasan in 2009. It runs a pilot 21st Century neighborhood community school at Saibabapath Mumbai Public School from Pre-K- 10, in partnership with the municipal corporation under the School Support Programme. It provides free-of-cost education to 800+ students from the underprivileged communities of Lalbaug, Parel. It parallelly works on developing relevant and replicable pedagogical practices for better delivery of existing curriculum to improve student learning outcomes. These learning are shared with teachers in municipal schools through training. Till date, Educo has trained 2800 municipal teachers.
