Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall design, drawings and engineering of Low Voltage switchboard up to 4000 Amp Oversea the specifying and purchasing of all major switchboard components. Manage the manufacturing workshop, testing and any associated site work. Planning both engineering and production capacities and resources to ensure that customers’ requirements are met. Liaise with customers, consultants and suppliers to ensure technically compliant solutions. Provide technical support to the sales team, with a particular focus on larger switchboards.
Responsibilities: • Oversee design and development of products and solutions for new markets, primarily in Australia. (10 - 3500kVA up to 33kV ) • Manage each phase of large and strategic technical projects, from initial concept and design through to successful delivery within set timeframes and budgets. • Lead all HR aspects for a team of five full time engineering staff and contactors as required including recruitment, training, mentoring and performance appraisals. • Ensure strict compliance with OH&S protocols, isolation procedures and industry regulations. • Provide technical support to the sales team, with a particular focus on large overseas tenders. • Manage the engineering design process and manufacture of products ordered by customers. • Make certain all KPIs are met or exceeded. • Maintain workplace safety by making sure all areas are kept hazard free and tidy. • Meet regularly with engineers, executives and stakeholders. Provide reports when applicable. • Constantly strive to develop the product range by looking for new innovate improvements. Key projects: • Powercor Kiosk development – as a direct result of the successful development, prototyping, testing, approval of the kiosk range ETEL was seen as a creditable quality supplier within the Australasian market. • SP Ausnet Kiosk development – now provides an significant annual turnover for ETEL • West Wind – Windfarm project with Meridian Energy – 63 WTG kiosks • Mount Mercer – Windfarm project with Meridian Energy and Downer Australia – 65 WTG kiosks • Boco Rock – Windfarm project with Downer Australia – 67 WTG kiosks
