My time in E-commerce allowed me to work directly with vendors to ensure their products were represented correctly on our website. Working closely with the e-commerce coordinator, I collected all the proper information and images in order to provide our online customer with all they needed to make their purchase. I also partnered with the buying and web coordinating teams to prioritize collections based on sales, events, catalogs, etc. to meet certain deadlines.

CATEGORY Knit Tops As an associate buyer, I independently managed and grew a multimillion knit tops department with a sales increase on a monthly basis. I created and executed assortments based on plans, seasonal needs and current directions; Analyzed the competition as well as my own business to reveal any possible opportunities of growth; Challenged vendors to ensure needed deliveries, high quality and the best prices; Met with them to create and translate new styles based on trends from fashion shows, pop culture, social media, etc.; Worked closely with planner to manage the OTB, markdowns and special buys; Kept a timely flow and balance of solids, prints, embellishments and layering pieces to go back to bottom departments

I helped in creating collections based on our department's plans, customer needs and current trends; handled the replenishment for ongoing core product as needed; managed purchase orders, fit samples and weekly reports. I also worked closely with our vendors to guarantee all issues would be taken care of in a timely manner as to not affect delivery.
