• Compile and consolidate social analysis of projects proposed under Smart Cities Mission(SCM) • Develop social safeguard framework for SCM projects • Ensure that the investment projects reflect social inclusion • Assess the social impacts of projects and monitor their impacts over time • Advise SPV's on reforms related to community participation • Responsible for working on projects covering board range of Social development issues, stakeholder interest. • Responsible to undertake social and community development initiatives and appraisals in the municipal environment-specially in to urban infrastructure projects. • Responsible to organize/ conduct stake holder meetings.(Inter departments, Community Stake Holders, Implementing agencies- PMC’s, Contractors/Bidders & etc) • Responsible to carry out social assessments required for various projects. • Responsible to assist in preparing training materials to provide basic orientation and training on social & community development. • Responsible for interacting with various departments/ projects of KUIDFC to understand Social Development needs and suggest interventions. • State level Nodal Agency Coordinator for Tumakuru Smart City- Responsible to collect & coordinate for Project Progress report, to conduct Technical Committee meetings, drafting proceedings of conducted meetings. • Appraisal of CR’s/DPR’s from perspective of Social Impact Analysis • Representation to State Govt Sessions_ Legislative Assembly & Council • Responsible to answer the Stared & Un stared questions • Communication with Stake Holders- Attending Departmental Meetings with District Administrations, Education Departments, Directorate, Secretariat & respective Ministries of State Govt
