I am responsible for advising the senior leadership team on strategy, decision making, and policy development, for managing media relations, and for serving as a key point of contact between owners and staff. I proactively identify, plan and implement changes which will improve company structure and efficiency, and preside over day to day operations incl. marketing, business development, finance, HR etc. Among my key projects during my tenure I successfully cut overhead costs of sister companies by 49% through a recommendation to consolidate under the parent group and implement a programme of management restructure. I also introduced a ‘family office’ concept which resolved a problematic chain of command issue and ensured continuity of leadership between owners, their children, and company staff. I have facilitated the creation of a management academy which allows newly graduated / qualified children of the owners to join the business and embark upon a programme of training across numerous business areas. I also contributed to the development of a mobile application for use by clients incl. Doha Bank, and to the development and sale of flight simulators and training to Qatar Airways. My remit has also included providing successful strategic advice not to invest in immature prospects such as sea submersibles, and delivered headhunting and recruitment services to companies such as Al Salam conglomerate while remaining fully compliance with Ministry of Labour guidelines incl. required volume of local nationals. I recently participated in web developing and adoption of SMS bulk messaging via social media which increased volume of site visits and clicks to client websites while maintaining quality assurance. I was also successful in securing an MOU agreement with 2022 Olympic Committee to provide communication and security systems.
