 Responsible for processing all the BOM and non BOM imported / Local items.  Responsible for processing requirement for special projects like contracting, construction and machinery.  Ordered machines, tools, and equipment for new product development  Conduct market research and collect information of suppliers.  Coordinate with production, R&D and Plant Engineering department for requirements/Developments.  Evaluate suppliers and negotiate on prices and purchase agreements.  Responsible to check the Proforma Invoice for the related orders & arrange relevant L/C / payment with proper coordination with accounts.  Follow up and tracking of purchase orders and shipments.  Ensure goods are delivered as promised and meet quality.  Dealing with freight forwarder & shipping line for proper shipment arrangements.  Dealing with custom housing agent.  Sourcing of alternate long term stable supplier for all components and finished products with effective cost savings.  Communicate with supplier for various development & any changes in design.
