Financial Management: I was responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and legal requirements. They oversee the organization's financial transactions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. Budgeting and Financial Planning: I did plays a vital role in the budgeting process by working closely with the board and other stakeholders to develop a realistic and sustainable budget. I provided financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Financial Reporting:I did prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide transparency and accountability to the board, members, and other stakeholders and present financial reports at board meetings and annual general meetings. Internal Controls: I did create and maintains internal control systems to safeguard the organization's assets and prevent fraud or financial mismanagement. This includes implementing financial policies and procedures, conducting periodic audits or reviews, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Fundraising and Grant Management: collaborate with other board members and staff in fundraising efforts, such as developing fundraising strategies, monitoring fundraising campaigns, and tracking donor contributions. And manage grants, ensuring proper financial reporting and compliance with grant requirements. External Relations: liaise with external stakeholders, such as auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and foster positive relationships.
