Fundani Youth Development Centre is registered as a training site and is accredited by HW-SETA and the Department of Labour in terms of the General Safety Regulation to conduct First-Aid courses and to issue certificates of competency to successful candidates who pass First Aid level 1, 2 and 3 courses. Fundani Youth Development Centre’s curriculum is evidence based. Whether in the work place or at home, life threatening accidents can occur. The only way to ensure that you, your employees or family members are protected and prepared for workplace safety is to provide first aid training. Our First Aid courses teach participants to recognise and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children, it provides the knowledge and skills needed to care for injury or sudden illness until a professional medic arrives to help. Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion of a written and practical evaluation and certificates are valid for two years.
