Operations and Organizational Management - Liaise with the Board of Directors to guide the strategic direction of the organization and lead quarterly board meetings with the Chairman - Created start-up foundation’s accounting and operations procedures and manage the annual audit - Perform budget management tasks such as monitoring actuals against estimates and preparing annual budget - Oversee two staff members and six independent contractors who deliver professional development workshops - Manage company payroll, invoicing, and other QuickBooks bookkeeping functions -Researched and administer employee benefits including 403(b) and health reimbursement arrangement Program Management - Form and manage partnerships with over 40 community organizations to bring programming and professional development to over 1,100 educators impacting nearly 20,000 children to date - Plan and deliver professional development workshops for nonprofit partner organizations - Oversee evaluation of the Choose Creativity program through analysis of evaluations, focus groups and program observation - Provide detailed program budgets and language for foundation grant applications - Created the Lulu & Leo Fund’s grant application, 6-month report and scoring rubric to advise the Board of Directors on the best grant partnerships for the scale and impact of the Fund
