Electronics Hardware Engineer responsible for the Design and Verification of circuitry used as part of Motor Drive Electronics (MDE). Project work has primarily been for the Embraer KC-390 aircraft. Key responsibilities included: • Card owner of the Control and Monitor Board; leading and reviewing its requirements, schematics, and PCB design. • Acting as the Hardware team lead when interfacing to the Firmware team. • Problem solving at card and MDE level, including the investigation of FRACA. • Creating test specifications at card and MDE level, and supporting the Test Equipment team on their development of the respective PAT (Product Acceptance Test). • Authoring of Permits and Concessions for hardware to be shipped to customer, including providing their rationale. • Requirements management support within the Rational DOORS software. This included the writing of DXL, and creation of baseline sets.
I worked within the R&D department of a company specialising in Cathodic Protection. My ongoing project involved monitoring pipe corrosion by the application of high current pulses.
