After successfully selling the company which we started, I remained as the General Director for one year to assist with the transition from Corporacion Figamach to Busche Performance Group. In this position, my direct responsibilities remained the same as CEO of Corporacion Figamach. Managing all operations and departments of the company. Including Administration, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, New Programs, Quality, Implementation of TS16949 and IATF certifications, Production, Environmental, Safety, Health, and Governmental Compliance. In addition, responsible for all proposals and customers negotiations.
As CEO, I had total responsibility for all aspects of the company. Financial planning, forecasting, government compliance, all departments, new business, budget creation, and compliance, EBITDA at an average of 15%, ensuring delivery compliance, both inside Mexico as well as to Europe and the USA, Directly responsible for all new business quotations and negotiations with potential customers.
We started Corporacion Figamach, an Automotive CNC machining company in 2009 in Saltillo Mexico from a greenfield site. Our target customers where local foundries who required machining, washing, leak testing, electronic gaging and visual inspection of Cylinder Heads and Engine Blocks in both aluminum and CGI cast iron. Our first order was awarded within the first 2 months of the start of building construction. The program launched while construction was still ongoing. The original goal was to build a successful company to sell in 5-7 years. In the end, we sold in year 8. Reaching our highest sales peak of $5.3M USD. 2012 EBITDA was 28%, 2013 12.5%, 2014 15% an average EBITDA of 18.5%. Total employees reached 150, 3 shifts, 7 days per week. Customers included Nemak, Cifunsa, GM, and Ford. Extensive experience in part processing, APQP, PPAP, PTR, PSW, CNC programming and processing, lean manufacturing, production planning, electrical and mechanical maintenance, company growth, talent acquisition, complete internal systems creation and implementation for all departments, governmental, safety, environmental compliance. Completion of ISO/TS 16949 and conversion to IATF.
After launching a new 250,000 sq. ft. facility, we designed, installed and operated high volume manufacturing lines for Ford, General Motors, Cifunsa, and BRP using a combination of traditional transfer lines, hybrid transfer lines using J mount CNC machines, washers, leak testers, electronic gaging and visual inspection. We provided a mix of pre-machining services along with finish part machining and assembly. During this period we launched a new facility in Mexico which today employees nearly 500 people and produces approximately 50,000 parts per week. Direct responsibilities included part processing, cost projections, cycle time estimates, completed proposal, CNC machine procurement, installation, programming runoff, electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities amongst other responsibilities

Provided new CNC machines, complete turnkey services for customers who required their CNC machines to arrive fully programmed and tooled ready for production on their floor. Using my extensive experience in turnkey solutions, and international experience, successfully launched the company and operated for 2 years.
