Inspiring Women is a membership based group that encourages a community approach and promotes connectivity for women in business on the Northern Beaches. Total management of regular networking, moonlighting' and workshop events ­ this incorporates: Booking venues, arranging catering and sourcing guest speakers. Ongoing development and maintenance of website ­ this requires regular updating to ensure current promotion of events, items of interests and business advertising. Consult and liaise with local organisations to discuss, promote and develop events for women. Achievements: Establishment of Business Women's Network on Northern Beaches ­ meeting a market need as the first in the Northern Beaches area. Invited `guest speaker' on numerous occasions to a variety of organisations to promote the importance of networking and support for small business. Successfully coordinated multiple Women in Business Mentoring programs and piloted an Over 45 Entrepreneurs for the NSW Gov assisting business owners through their stages of growth and matching business women with local business mentors.
