Currently leading strategic alliances for the Americas Ocean Watch expedition directing high profile, complex, cross functional strategic initiatives to establish and develop partnerships across a diverse group of industries. My role includes building global alliances with multinational organizations including Amazon Web Services, Google and leading brands, technology, governmental and media organizations. Americas Ocean Watch is a catalyst for technology innovation focused on ocean health and the blue economy. Additionally Americas Ocean Watch will create and host a global ocean network connecting entrepreneurs, accelerators, scientists, educators, investors and philanthropists that are eager to collaborate to advance ocean conservation and innovate within the blue economy. Americas Ocean Watch will contribute to the blue economy by mobilizing ocean innovation and ocean scientific discovery in the areas of offshore renewable energy, ocean plastics, sustainable fishing, shipping and marine maritime industry, clean water and sanitation, marine pharmacology and marine genetic resources, and disruptive ocean technologies including AI, IoT, smart robots, blockchains and VR. Ocean health stakeholders will include ocean research and science, ocean conservation, data science, marine biology, meteorology and urban planning.
