Susan entered the sustainability sector formally in 2010, with strong business relationships experience and detailed knowledge of the fashion and textile industry in order to build more sustainable supply chains in cotton and in building more sustainable agricultural supply chains at farm level. A graduate in Fashion Design from The London College of Fashion (UAL) and built an impressive career in the apparel and textile industry from concept & design right through to customers at point of sale. Held Design Director, Product Development Director, Commercial Director and Business Development Director positions in large global supplier companies for major brands & retailers across numerous product categories, and has worked in product development on new fibres, fabrics, innovative new business strategies and created solutions to build the core business base and growth. In addition, Susan has been a Business Development Consultant for leading overseas businesses to build markets & market share, and to develop secure sourcing and supply chain excellence. Currently developing and creating Circular economy solutions for apparel, and a technical system that can operate within Circular business systems within multiple business sectors.
