I provide storytelling, freelance writing, business consulting, and speaking services for clients with national and international business footprints. My methodology is to bring my holistic authentic self into every project. This includes taking an experiential approach to storytelling – beyond the usual marketing pieces – to also provide an experience for the reader... so they can feel they are a part of what is being described when they read your stories. It also includes helping organizations develop strategies to find and cultivate new opportunities. My passion for writing began at an early age and never left. All of my positions (also listed separately) required a variety of writing and research requirements: • Specification and technical writing for design / build projects as a construction manager / general contractor. • Energy efficiency background includes program manager for a nonprofit to manage a large utility's home energy savings (HES) programs across five states, and wrote five monthly HES reports to cover each individual state program. • Renewable energy background includes writing international renewable energy firm press releases and articles. • Experience writing business plans, construction specifications, research projects, and legal documents. My business strategy experience spans numerous fields, including general construction management and design, military planning (US Army officer), energy efficiency program management, modular construction start-up CFO, project planning, and sustainable planning.
