Worked with JSW STEEL LTD. Bellary, Karnataka for their MILLS DIVISION (Wire Rod Mill & Bar Mill – 1.6 MT Project as a part of the massive expansion plan of 10 MT by the year 2011) as Manager Mechanical since 5th November 2007 to 7th April’2011. Green field project of “MORGAN WORCESTER” make latest Wire Rod Mill (120 m/s) erection & commissioning completed in Nov ‘2008. Brief Description Of Jobs Done During Project Stage • Started with green field project & handled all civil related jobs of 0.6 km long Wire Rod Mill. • Mechanical erection (including structural, equipment & fluid systems) done. • Independently handled the complete layout, fabrication & erection with engineering corrections of Mixed Gas Pipe Line for both Wire Rod Mill & Bar Mill done. • Finally solving all mechanical difficulties including number of minor & major modifications / improvements required for smooth operation & maintenance of WIRE ROD MILL during erection & commissioning. Present Responsibility at Wire Rod Mill • Preventive & predictive maintenance of equipments like Mill gear boxes, Loopers,Valves, Actuators, Lubrication Units, Hydraulic Power Pack’s, Rollers, Conveyors, Universal Spindle’s, Couplings, Hook Conveyor, Compactor, Pumps, Compressors, UTS M/C, Cold Upset M/C ,Automat CNC’s, Blowers, Walking Beam Furnace. • Condition Based Maintenance of equipments Like – Temperature Monitoring, Vibration Monitoring and Noise Level. • Assembly of Modules for PFM / NTM / RSM, • Spares management of complete Wire Rod Mill (Mech), • Shift manpower handling responsibility, • Breakdown maintenance activity, • Technical analysis for breakdowns, • Improvement planning & execution , • Making of technical presentations & dept. EIS reports, • Shut down jobs planning and their execution, • Imparting training, • Making of check sheets / preventive & overhauling schedule. • Making of all ISO documents & MANUAL for WRM (Mech)

Worked with M/S USHA MARTIN INDUSTRIES LTD., Jamshedpur, in their Wire Rod Mill Division as Assistant Manager Mechanical Maintenance since 5th March 2002 to October 2007. Responsibility at Wire Rod Mill • Preventive & predictive maintenance of equipments like Bevel / Helical gear boxes, Utility equipments, Cranes, Valves, Actuators, Lubrication Units, Hydraulic Power Pack’s, Rollers, Conveyors, Universal Spindle’s, Couplings, Hook Conveyor, Diesel Fork Lift, Compactor, Pumps, Compressors, UTS M/C, Hot Upset M/C, Cold Upset M/C , Blowers, Walking Beam Furnace, Annealing Furnace. • Condition Based Maintenance of equipments Like – Oil Testing, Temperature Monitoring, Vibration Monitoring and Noise Level. • Monthly EIS report making & sharing, • Shift manpower handling responsibility, • Breakdown maintenance activity, • Technical analysis for breakdowns, • Improvement planning & execution , • Making of technical presentations, • Regular and shut down jobs planning and their execution, • TPM activities (Primarily looking exhaustively after PM pillar of WRM ) • Imparting training , • Looking after ISO 9001-2000 / TS 16949 / ISO 14001 system at WRM Mechanical, • Taking care of BaaN ERP System of WRM Mechanical.
