Since 2005, I have been working with family offices and foundations on philanthropic initiatives. My short documentary, *From Darkness to Hope*, won several awards, including "Best Documentary" at the Indian Cine Film Festival 2019 in Mumbai, the "Film on Religion" award at the White Unicorn International Film Festival, and a "Special Festival Mention" at the 4th Indian World Film Festival. I have also hired marginalized individuals, including survivors of trafficking, for my film productions. From September 2015 to March 2017: Together with my husband, we gave 113 presentations in 27 U.S. cities over 70 days in the summer of 2016, to raise awareness on the issue of modern day slavery. From February 2015 to November 2016: I was a co-founder of the 852 Freedom Campaign. This organization mobilized over 25,000 people through more than 55 events in Hong Kong and the region, encouraging them to actively participate in the fight against human slavery by using their skills to raise awareness and funds. Our bilingual team members spoke at companies, schools, and churches about modern slavery and strategies to address it.
