PROJECT SUPPORT FUND INITIATIVE • Charted a successful course for the establishment of the fund, an initiative to support construction and completion of projects in Education, Healthcare, and Real Estate Development (Mixed Commercial Use) sectors by providing subsidized structured loans with initial capital of SR 10 Billion. • Formulate strategy, engage with stakeholders, and build strategic relationships with FIs, governmental and semi-governmental entities, strategic clients with large projects in pipeline. • Supervise and mobilize high-quality performance from the credit team while overseeing credit proposals and the execution of deals. SUSTAINABILITY SUPPORT PROGRAM INITIATIVE • Developed and implemented the credit manual, process and procedures for a program providing stimulus packages to support private sector with ST/MT credit facilities based on pre-defined eligibility criteria. • Created related teams (Credit and Risk), and cultivated productive relationships with local FIs to extend support to eligible entities through banking system.

• Played a key role in the formation and launch of International Business in SABB, featuring an ambitious target to be the leading international bank in the Kingdom. • Collaborated with the Head of International Banking to establish client base by identifying existing and new names by covering the three regions in the first year. • Managed international companies within various sectors, including contracting, trading, manufacturing, investment, consulting, and automotive. • Prepared full financial and industry analysis for portfolio relationships, applying cross-border lending policies, identifying new names coming to the region, reporting “without violating SAMA regulations” to Global Relationship Managers, and coordinating with managers about annual reviews and new deals. • Liaised with parent companies abroad to build new and strengthen existing relationships. • Negotiated with parent companies related to megaprojects, managing several possible and existing M&A deals, as well as Syndicated Loans. • Navigated a range of cross-selling activities, including treasury deals, internet banking, maintaining a certain level of NIBs, POS, trade products, SABB Takaful “insurance”, Payroll, and Employees Benefit products.
• Oversaw a diverse portfolio of Saudi Corporate clients in various industries, including contracting, automotive, trading, manufacturing, investment, and auto financing. • Portfolio included six corporate groups of more than 15 companies, with sales levels ranging from SR 300 million to SR 2 billion and total portfolio credit facilities approaching SR 2 billion. • Delivered full financial and industry analysis for the relationships within portfolio. • Structured facilities for clients, cross-sold various types of products, prospected new clients, and retained existing clients by responding promptly to request and building solid relationships between the bank and client. • Performed essential functions related to the Samba Professional Program (SPP), a training program to prepare participants to occupy high managerial positions in the bank.
