ICAMS - Industry Coordination for the Airspace Modernisation Strategy - It is set to increase the capacity, efficiency and integration of the UK airspace system, enhancing the UK’s global connectivity, enabling economic growth and improving aviation’s environmental performance. In this capacity, the main purpose of ICAMS is to support the implementation of the airspace modernisation initiatives set out in UK Government's Airspace Modernisation Strategy (AMS) programme by sharing information, progress updates and lessons learnt between all relevant airspace industry stakeholders, including existing and new users whilst maintaining an open dialogue and driving accountability with UK DfT and CAA and its Delivery Monitoring and Oversight team, as well as, the advancement of Airspace Change Organising Group (ACOG)’s Masterplan and outputs from the wider AMS governance structure.
