Concept by IOWA Hearing AID Centers is an Iowa based company with 22 locations throughout Iowa servicing patients from Carroll to the Mississippi river. The company was founded by myself as well as my father in law Duane Flagel, starting from a single location in Grinnell Iowa and growing into a multi location operation and 26 employees. We primarily test hearing and fit patients with the Concept brand hearing aid, powered by Resound, a worldwide distributor of hearing devices. We have multiple well known Iowans wearing and endorsing the Concept brand. Ken Root National Farm Broadcaster of the Year, Ron Gonder of the Iowa Hawkeye sideline reporting and WMT radio broadcasts, Frank Balvanz of WMT Radio, Doug Copper of WHO Radio Farm Show, Bobby Hansen current Iowa Hawkeye Basketball color commentator and former Chicago Bull. The newest addition to the Concept family of wearers is Ed Podolak, color commentator for Iowa Hawkeye Football and Kansas City Chief Hall of Fame. We are known in the industry for being aggressive in marketing and thinking outside of the traditional hearing aid box.
