Stichting Terre des Hommes Foundation [STdHF] is a not-for-profit company founded with the mission to “prevent child exploitation, remove children from exploitative situations and ensure that these children can develop themselves in a safe environment.” We are registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 in India, working towards a vision to see a world in which children are no longer exploited. We envisage a world where all children have a decent life and can grow up to be independent adults. We will continue our work until this is accomplished. Our major purpose is “to support, carry out, disseminate knowledge and develop various interventions of Child Care Programme in India and establish funds to revolve in order to attain economic independence of the families with children in distress”. Therefore, our focus is on stopping child exploitation and the most serious violations of the rights of the child. Since its inception STdH Foundation has started to implement various development activities in the state of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Jharkhand, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Terre des Hommes - The Netherlands (TdH-NL) is a child rights organisation registered as a Foundation in the Netherlands, with the aim to stop child exploitation all over the world, regardless of race, faith and affiliation. It raises funds from the public in the Netherlands and a subsidy from the Government of the Netherlands to support projects and programmes, which create better opportunities for underprivileged children around the world.
