I. Key member of the Group’s senior leadership team. I was responsible for the design, build and operation of Basis Bay’s Green Data Center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. My hands-on experience in the design of the Tier III/IV Data Center included green best practices across the mechanical, electrical, civil, structural and architecture aspects of the data center. II. Member and participant of National Labs under EPP2 and EPP3. Active committee member of the Green Data Center Standards, Malaysia. III. For Malaysian Data Centre Alliance: I held the post of Vice-Chair during the first term and was also the Organising Chairman of the first Malaysian Data Centre Conference in 2013. I have been Chairman of MDCA since 2017 and represented MDCA in various conferences around ASEAN, promoting Malaysia as the next Data Centre hub for South East Asia. As Chairman, I served as a member of the Malaysian Productive Centre (MPC) Working Committee Group as well as a Committee member in Outsourcing Malaysia (OM) and PIKOM. During my tenure as Chairman I was consulted with and engaged with as a thought leader for the Data Centre industry by government agencies and the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia. IV. For Senior Electrical Designer at Zainuddin Parsons Brinckerhoff (ZPB International) Initially a Design Electrical Engineer and later, a Senior Electrical Engineer, I was involved in the design of the entire Electrical Distribution System (HT and LV). I also prepared tender documents for Medium to High-rise Commercial, Retail, Residential and Transportation Hubs (LRT) projects within Malaysia and Singapore.
