The live event industry was brought to a standstill by the pandemic making live events, communication, and face to face networking practically obsolete, making virtual and hybrid events the new normal. The biggest issues organizations have with their hybrid events is engagement, production values, and technology. I can fix that. With more than 20 years in education, I know a lot about performance, delivery, and pressure! I know a lot about communication, technology, and inclusion-- and how even the smallest of adjustments can result in big wins. In 2005, I had the privilege to be awarded a full scholarship conducting a scientifically backed Action Research by utilizing adaptive technology in the classroom to measure learning gains. What I didn’t realize at the time, was that this research was the beginning of adaptive hybrid and STEM technology and awarded me the opportunity to work with NASA STEM Programs. The research from this technology is being used in the military and in educational institutions at local, state, and national levels today. I have extensive experience working with educational institutions, nonprofits, volunteer-based organizations, community groups, and associations and a deep understanding of what it takes to conduct a successful and engaging hybrid experience to bring people together, move agendas forward, and help develop the kind of communication that can lead to big breakthroughs.
