Tom Doyle's current jobs
Reporting to the Managing Director, with responsibility for leading the European Project Development Team, with current projects including, - Manchester United, (Masterplanning) - Sevilla FC (Feasibility) - Liverpool Football Club: Anfield Road Stand (under construction) - Real Madrid: Bernabéu (under construction) - Leicester City: Stadium Expansion & Masterplan (submitted for planning) - Avicii Arena, Stockholm (currently in design phase) - The Sage NewcastleGateshead Arena (enabling works on site) - Fulham Football Club, Riverside Stand (under construction) Real Madrid - Case Study Legends International was appointed to provide strategic insight into commercially optimising the Bernabéu, which was already one of the most profitable stadia in Europe. However, the match day experience was significantly below the levels achieved at other leading stadia and the board of Real Madrid felt strongly that the stadium was not sufficiently utilised on non-match days. We conducted a detailed review of existing financials and operations and from those findings sought to develop innovative, profitable and fan-led experiences - then worked with Real Madrid and the architects to integrate these findings into the designs and construction programme to create a robust, deliverable business model for the future. In May 2022, the Club announced a long-term partnership, with Real Madrid to receive approximately €360m to be invested across any of the Club’s activities, Sixth Street acquiring the right to participate in the operation of certain new businesses of the stadium for twenty years, and Legends to contribute its experience in the operation of large stadiums, attractions and event spaces to optimise the management of the stadium.
