Montgomery Capital Advisors, LLC (MCA) is a diversified investment management and business advisory firm located in Plano, TX. Serving as a General Partner (GP) in numerous, related, limited partnership investment funds, MCA manages debt and equity investments made by those partnerships in distressed debt, operating entities and other, opportunistic investments, as detailed in their respective investment documents . MCA also serves as a principal in direct equity and debt investments in operating companies. In addition to direct investment, MCA provides professional advisory services to operating companies in the portfolios of the funds it manages. The MCA team is comprised of a diverse group of management, finance and accounting professionals who have spent their careers operating, supporting, advising and investing in, entrepreneurial ventures and debt and equity providers. Tom is the CEO/CFO of Montgomery Capital Advisers LLC where he oversees a diverse, multimillion-dollar portfolio of private investments in commercial real estate, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing, professional services, technology, healthcare, and financial services. Tom also provides CFO services to MCA’s portfolio companies which includes consulting services for strategy development and execution, FP&A projects, cash flow management, financial budgeting and modeling, overhead allocation, turnaround situations, rapid growth management, process improvements, and additional evaluations of the F&A function. Tom’s primary disciplines include advanced tax planning, transactional services, particularly mergers, acquisitions, debt/equity financing for both public and private companies, and strategic, operational, and financial planning for small and medium sized businesses.
